Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 3 September 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms govern purchases and use of the 4Qweb website, WordPress themes, plugins and custom-development services. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms and the Product Licence Terms.
2. Product information
We aim to keep descriptions, compatibility information, demonstrations and prices accurate. Demonstration sites illustrate typical presentation and may use placeholder content or additional extensions not included with a product.
3. Orders and payment
An order is accepted when payment is successfully processed and an order confirmation is issued. We may reject or cancel an order affected by fraud, pricing error, technical failure or unlawful use and will refund amounts received where appropriate.
4. Digital delivery
Digital products are delivered through the customer account or order email. Customers are responsible for supplying a working email address and safeguarding their account and download links.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers must maintain backups, use supported WordPress and PHP versions, test changes safely and keep WordPress, products and dependencies updated. Products must not be used unlawfully or to compromise another system.
6. Compatibility and changes
Compatibility is stated on each product page. WordPress, WooCommerce, browsers, hosting platforms and third-party services can change independently. We do not guarantee compatibility with every third-party extension or future version unless expressly stated.
7. Custom work
Custom projects are governed by the agreed written scope, price, milestones and acceptance terms. Work outside the agreed scope may require a separate quotation.
8. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, 4Qweb is not responsible for indirect loss, loss of profits, loss of data or business interruption. Customers should maintain reliable backups. Our total liability relating to a product is limited to the amount paid for that product.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights that apply where they live.
